Notes
'Black Beauty' tall fescue (Lolium arundinaceum 'Black Beauty') is a grass for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It stays low at 3 to 6 inches tall. The foliage stays green, so it makes a tidy base under taller plants.
Pairs well with Dalmatian bellflower, Black Hero tulip, and Japanese spirea.
