Notes

'Attraction' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Attraction') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. George Hollis bred it in 1906. The large, fragrant blooms open vivid red and age to crimson in late spring and early summer. Stiff stems hold the flowers upright.

Pairs well with Carnaval De Nice tulip, Tall fescue, and African marigold.
