Notes

'Audray Purple-Red' gomphrena (Gomphrena globosa 'Audray Purple-Red') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. Give it full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. This erect plant grows 18 to 28 inches tall and draws butterflies and bees. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Gardeners prefer this series for tall, uniform plants and stems.

Pairs well with Supertunia Vista Fuchsia petunia, Red fescue, and Black Velvet nasturtium.
