Notes

'Aurora Borealis' rose (Rosa 'Aurora Borealis') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. The compact plant has dark green leaves and fragrant red blend blooms that open in early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and Rumen Coney bred it.

Pairs well with Lilac, Black Beauty peony, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Love-in-a-mist.
