Notes
'Aurora' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Aurora') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, loamy soil. Its two-tone blooms come in a vintage palette of orange, yellow, and gold, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer. Drought tolerance makes it easy to grow.
Pairs well with Cosmic Orange cosmos, Goldy Double sunflower, and Red fescue.
