Notes

'Persian Carpet' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Persian Carpet') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, loamy soil. It grows fast and stands erect at 24 to 36 inches tall, and it tolerates drought. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Cosmic Orange cosmos, Sungold sunflower, and Red fescue.
