Notes

'Autumn Splendor' buckeye (Aesculus arnoldiana 'Autumn Splendor') is a tree for use as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It grows at a moderate rate into a broad shape, reaching 15 to 35 feet tall and 15 to 30 feet wide. Yellow and red flowers open from early to late spring, so give it plenty of room.

Pairs well with Blue Arrow Rocky mountain juniper, Bowl of Cream peony, and Grape hyacinth.
