Notes

'Avila' rose (Rosa 'Avila') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Deep pink, fragrant flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn. Bees visit the blooms. Mogens Nyegaard Olesen bred it in 2007.

Pairs well with Bouquet peony, Niobe clematis, and Ornamental onion.
