Notes

'Axelle' rose (Rosa 'Axelle') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant orange blooms open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and again in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Jean-Marie Gaujard bred it.

Pairs well with False indigo, Rock rose, and Evening primrose.
