Notes

'Aztec Gold' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Aztec Gold') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the fragrant blooms, which open in spring, summer, and autumn. Rabbits tend to pass it by. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Garden speedwell, and Indian grass.
