Notes

Garden speedwell (Veronica longifolia) is a perennial for pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows 24 to 48 inches tall and spreads 12 to 24 inches. Lilac blue flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn, and bees visit them. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Angel Cheeks peony, Coralbells, and Strawberry Hill rose.
