Notes
'Azul' delphinium (Delphinium elatum 'Azul') is a perennial with tall spikes of frilly, semi-double blue flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The flowers open from early to late summer and attract hummingbirds and bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Cut off spent spikes and it may bloom again on side spikes in late summer and fall.
Pairs well with Monkshood, Campfire rose, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
