Notes

'Blue Lace' delphinium (Delphinium elatum 'Blue Lace') is a perennial for borders and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its erect stems reach about 59 to 71 inches tall, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Tall stems may need staking in windy spots.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Baby's breath, and Henryi clematis.
