Notes
'Guardian Lavender' delphinium (Delphinium elatum 'Guardian Lavender') is a perennial for borders and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Tall, erect plants bloom in early to late summer and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Stake the tall stems if your site is windy.
Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Willow bell, and Baby's breath.
