Notes

'Bacchus' rose (Rosa 'Bacchus') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium red, fragrant blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. The glossy, dark green leaves set off the flowers. Alexander bred it.

Pairs well with Jackmanii clematis, Switchgrass, and Casa Blanca lily.
