Notes
'Balbrupost' Siberian bugloss (Brunnera macrophylla 'Balbrupost') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland settings, borders, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It grows in a clump at a moderate rate, and bees visit the flowers in early to late spring.
Pairs well with Snake Eyes hosta, Blue wood aster, and Paul Scherer tulip.
