Notes

'Balmy Pink' spotted beebalm (Monarda didyma 'Balmy Pink') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its fragrant flowers attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It stays erect at about 12 inches tall and grows at a moderate pace.

Pairs well with Blue Paradise garden phlox, Lamb’s ear, and Russian sage.
