Notes

'Blue Paradise' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Blue Paradise') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. Its fragrant flowers open pink-purple to white in summer and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Powdery mildew is a frequent problem, so give it good air flow. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Little bluestem, Annabelle hydrangea, and Stargazer lily.
