Notes
'Bartigon' tulip (Tulipa 'Bartigon') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers open in early to late spring and are a cochineal red. Plants reach about 22 inches tall, so they make good stems for a vase.
Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Immortality iris, and Black Beauty peony.
