Notes

Bayberry willow (Salix myricoides) is a tree for woodland and meadow plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and moist soil. It can reach about 180 inches tall and often grows with a shrubby habit. Yellow, green, and brown flowers appear in mid to late spring and again in early to mid summer. It is also drought tolerant once settled in.
