Notes

Beach suncup (Camissoniopsis cheiranthifolia) is a perennial for ground cover and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy soil. Wiry stems spread from a central rosette and form a dense gray-green mat. Bright yellow, four-petaled flowers open along the stems and attract butterflies.

Pairs well with Seaside buckwheat, Bluff lettuce, Seaside daisy, and Yarrow.
