Notes

Seaside buckwheat (Eriogonum latifolium) is a perennial for borders, ground cover, and low maintenance plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It stays evergreen and tolerates drought. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Seaside daisy, Bluff lettuce, and Fernbush.
