Notes
'Bee-Free' spotted beebalm (Monarda didyma 'Bee-Free') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Magenta flowers open from early to late summer and attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. The plant stays compact and is highly mildew resistant. The leaves are fragrant, so plant it near a path where you can brush past.
Pairs well with September Charm anemone, Horsetail, and Juneberry.
