Notes

'Bee Turf' sheep fescue (Festuca ovina 'Bee Turf') is a grass for pollinator gardens, low maintenance beds, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It grows about 12 inches tall and wide, and it tolerates drought. Bees visit it, and chafer beetles find it unattractive. It also holds up well against weeds.

Pairs well with Catnip, Evening primrose, and Queen of Night tulip.
