Notes

'Beyond Blue' blue fescue (Festuca glauca 'Beyond Blue') is a grass for borders, containers, rock gardens, and xeriscape. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It forms a tidy clump of powdery blue foliage. Plant it in a hot, dry spot with thin soil and no added compost, since rich, wet winter soil can make it fade.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Lavender, Lanceleaf coreopsis, and Stonecrop.
