Notes

Sheep fescue (Festuca ovina) is a grass for ground cover and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It grows about 12 inches tall and wide, so it forms a small, neat tuft. It is drought tolerant and grows in acid, alkaline, or neutral soil.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Big sagebrush, and Cat mint.
