'Bellini' tulip (Tulipa 'Bellini') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers open early to late spring. They are carmine red outside with creamy edges, and creamy inside with a green and yellow base. The leaves are mottled, and Tubergen bred it.
Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Cytherea peony, and Little bluestem.
