Notes

'Bialobok' Colorado spruce (Picea pungens 'Bialobok') is a shrub for specimen planting, accents, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. This slow evergreen grows in a columnar form, 47 to 59 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide. Birds visit it, and it tolerates drought and salt. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Compactus winged spindle tree, Stonecrop, and Black-eyed Susan.
