Notes

'Bicolor' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia 'Bicolor') is a shrub for specimen and accent planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows 24 to 48 inches tall and wide, so it suits a small space. The reddish pink and white bicolored petals open in waves from spring into early autumn, and the leaves turn color in fall.

Pairs well with Boxwood, Fountain grass, and Greig's tulip.
