Notes

'Big Kahuna' coneflower (Echinacea 'Big Kahuna') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the blooms, which are fragrant. It is also drought tolerant. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Bee balm, Red-hot poker, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
