Notes

'Big Smile' tulip (Tulipa 'Big Smile') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The yellow-orange blooms open from early to late spring. Plants reach 24 to 36 inches tall, so the stems work well in a vase. I.V.T. bred it.

Pairs well with Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Queen of Night tulip, and Ronaldo tulip.
