Garden uses

Notes

'Billboard' tulip (Tulipa 'Billboard') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers open in early to late spring and stand about 20 inches tall. The outside of each petal is rose with a shrimp red edge, and the inside is bright scarlet with a canary yellow base. J.F. van den Berg & Sons bred it.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Cytherea peony, and Lily of the valley.
