Notes

'Black Beauty' lily (Lilium 'Black Beauty') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Fragrant, recurved flowers in dark raspberry to maroon open in early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer tend to pass it by. It is toxic to cats.

Pairs well with Polish Spirit clematis, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Cytherea peony, and Knapweed.
