Notes

'Black Magic' rose (Rosa 'Black Magic') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist soil of most types. The dark red blooms are fragrant and attract bees. They appear in spring, summer, and autumn. R.T. Hamilton bred it, and Southern Cross Nurseries introduced it in 2003.

Pairs well with Yarrow, June hosta, Snapdragon, and Casa Blanca lily.
