Blizzard tulip

Garden uses

Notes

'Blizzard' tulip (Tulipa 'Blizzard') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It blooms in early to late spring and stands about 18 inches tall. The creamy white flowers are larger than those of many tulips. G. van der Mey's Sons bred it.

Pairs well with Bridal Crown daffodil, Cytherea peony, and Little bluestem.
