Blue Buccaneers larkspur

Notes

'Blue Buccaneers' larkspur (Delphinium 'Blue Buccaneers') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Dense spikes of deep blue flowers with black centers open from early to late summer. Its large, deeply incised leaves look good even when it is not in bloom. Remove spent flower spikes and you may get another round of blooms on secondary spikes in late summer and fall.

Pairs well with Picture peony, Campfire rose, and Ostrich fern.
