Notes

'Highlander Sweet Sensation' larkspur (Delphinium 'Highlander Sweet Sensation') is a perennial for borders and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Its ruffled, fully double flowers come in deep lilac purple and blue on strong, upright stems. Cut off spent flower spikes to get another round of blooms on side spikes later in the season.

Pairs well with Knapweed, Panicle hydrangea, and Blue grama.
