'Rose' larkspur (Delphinium 'Rose') is a perennial for mid borders, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and moist soil. The pink flowers have creamy-green centers and attract bees. Stems stay compact and upright, and side shoots keep new spires coming for a long season. You can cut it back to the ground after flowering to encourage a late rebloom.
Pairs well with Cutleaf coneflower, Tussock sedge, and Farewell to spring.
