Notes

'Blue Butterfly' larkspur (Delphinium grandiflorum 'Blue Butterfly') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Ultramarine blue flowers open in spring and again in summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Blazing star, Lemon Chiffon peony, and Blue grama.
