Notes

'Lemon Chiffon' peony (Paeonia 'Lemon Chiffon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The lemon-yellow blooms are fragrant and draw butterflies and bees. David Reath bred it in 1981. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Annabelle hydrangea, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Polish Spirit clematis.
