Notes

'Bluecrop' blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum 'Bluecrop') is a shrub for food gardens, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It needs acidic soil. White, bell-shaped flowers open in late spring, which helps them miss late frosts. The sweet, juicy berries ripen in midsummer and are grown for jams, jellies, juices, baking, freezing, and fresh eating.

Pairs well with Black chokeberry, Virginia sweetspire, and Serviceberry.
