Notes

'Patriot' blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum 'Patriot') is a shrub for food gardens, hedges, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It needs acidic soil, so aim for a soil pH of 4.5 to 5.5. White flowers attract bees, butterflies, and birds, and the leaves turn color in fall.

Pairs well with Virginia sweetspire, Serviceberry, Switchgrass, and Wild bergamot.
