Notes

'Blushing Face' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Blushing Face') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant double flowers open in late spring with powder-pink outer petals and cream or ivory centers. The stems are stiff and the plant stays compact, so it needs no support.

Pairs well with Dutchman's breeches, Cinnamon fern, and Queen of Night tulip.
