Notes

'Blushing Smile' peony (Paeonia 'Blushing Smile') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, semi-double flowers are light peach-blossom pink and held cupped on erect stems up to 31½ inches (80 cm) tall. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Culver’s root, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Balloon flower.
