Notes

'Boa' elephant’s ear (Alocasia 'Boa') is a bulb for borders and containers. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its clumping form grows 36 to 60 inches tall and up to 48 inches wide, with gray, silver, green, and purple leaves.

Pairs well with Mandevilla, Citronella grass, and Ageratum.
