Notes

Botanical tulip (Tulipa sylvestris) is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The fragrant flowers open in early to late spring. Each bloom is clear bright yellow inside, and the backs of the petals look greenish. It grows about 12 inches tall and tolerates dry spells.

Pairs well with Grape hyacinth, Peony, and Mallow.
