Notes
'Boutade' tulip (Tulipa 'Boutade') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The red flowers open from early to late spring on stems about 14 inches tall. Each bloom is turkey red outside, flushed with carmine, and orient red inside with a deep green base and purple anthers. The leaves are mottled.
Pairs well with Bridal Crown daffodil, Fanal astilbe, and Nodding onion.
