Notes

'J. Boy' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'J. Boy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, bright pink flowers are full doubles that open in midseason on erect stems. They make a fine cut flower. R.H. Jones bred it.

Pairs well with Showy milkweed, Royal fern, and Black Parrot tulip.
