Notes

'Brandywine' crabapple (Malus 'Brandywine') is a tree for borders, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 15 to 20 feet tall and wide. The flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies, bees, and birds. Once settled in, it tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Royal Star star magnolia, Gladiator ornamental onion, Virginia creeper, and Jacob’s ladder.
