Notes

'Brandywine' rose (Rosa 'Brandywine') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Light yellow, fragrant flowers open from early to late summer and attract bees. J.H. Thompson's Sons bred it in 1941. The upright habit fits well in a mixed bed.

Pairs well with Sea holly, Fountain grass, and The President clematis.
